Reduces the weight by 1/2! Creates room for intercoolers, oil coolers or acts as a good factory replacement for those of you whose factory unit may have been damaged or rusted out.
Fitment on aftermarket bumpers is noted to be tighter than OEM, and may require slight trimming/massaging to install, also bear in mind these cars are 30+ years old at this point and no two cars are the same so fitment may vary slightly from car to car, meaning you may need to drill a hole larger or shift things around slightly.
